This week, I feel I have excelled myself when it comes to food. For a little while now, I’ve fancied myself as a bit of a ‘saucier’. My other half is still absolutely certain that there’s no such thing as a saucier but there is. I Googled it. I am a firm believer that a sauce can make or break a dish and that a good sauce can bring feelings of ecstasy. That’s how I felt when I absolutely bossed my skinny Green Goddess-inspired dressing, taken and twisted to my own little mold after seeing Donal Skehan’s Snapchat for Tastemade earlier this week.
Skinny Green Goddess dressing, or Frankenjizz you’re so inclined…
It was so easy to make, and so fresh it might blow your mind.
- Half an avocado (5sp)
- 1 tsp of sugar for balance (1sp)
- Handful of chives – zero hero!
- Handful of corriander – zero hero!
- 2 tbsp of white wine vinegar – zero hero!
And blitz in a food processor or blender until your heart’s content, or until it reaches the required consistency and slather it on everything. You won’t regret it.
