As we edge ever closer to the end of November, it’s almost the time where we slump into chocolate-and-constantly-repeated-Harry Potter film-induced coma.
There are 5 weeks until New Year’s Day, and I am determined not to fall into a trap of ‘f*ck it, it’s Christmas’ throughout December and into January when the ‘new year, new me’ guilt starts to kick my arse.
I want to set a few End of Year resolutions;
- I want to complete the Egg Nog Jog virtual race. I want to have a reason not to be lazy this December and a tool to keep myself accountable. Oh, and the raising money for charity thing is a bonus too.
- Drink more. Not booze, unfortunately. I don’t drink nearly enough water and it’s an old habit that needs to go. 2L a day, at least.
- 06:30 am wake up calls, I’m not too bad at this one but I’d like to be consistent and squeeze some more out of my day.
Why do we wait for a change in the calendar?[insert cheesy saying about the present being a gift]
